Want to know more?  Well, I was an over-the-road truck driver for thirteen years (writing was just a hobby) and am a trained and licensed phlebotomist, xray tech and Medical Assistant (so I’m handy to have around in medical emergencies). In late 2007 I flew to China to bring home my one and only child, Mei-Ling, now 6.  I was perfectly fine being a single mom but when you’re not looking… I was married a year after I became a mommy.  We have two extraordinairy guinea pigs (future childrens book project), one itty-bitty kitty and our rescued poodle, Muttley. My husband collectively calls our home “the farm!” When I’m not writing I’m yelling at the Dogers and for the Nebraska Cornhuskers or checking out blowholes and hiking to remote areas in Hawaii (the cool places that say “treacherous crosswinds, dangerous currents and falling rock). And sometimes I cook.
